Getting Simonini Victor 1 Ready To Go - Radiator Mounting Brackets

The same template approach was used to make the lower radiator bracket. I kept making templates until I had one that did the job. And then I glued it to some stainless steel and cut it out and bent it at the bend lines. To get the glued template and adhesive off the metal, all one has to do is to spray it with some WD-40 and it will all come off. The idea here is to support the radiator from the engine mount but isolate it from engine vibrations. All thickness edges are kept very smooth to prevent fatigue cracking.

Again a template was used to fabricate the upper radiator bracket. The short arm on the left is sandwiched between the flywheel cover and the muffler support bracket.
