 A small fisherman's fly storage box is used as storage for carburetor needles and jets. I use three different needles and clips with the clips glued (acrylic) in the top three slots. If one is changing needles and drops a clip in the grass, it is easier to find because it is attached to the needle. To ensure that the clip and the needle are square with each other, the clip is glued after the assembly is placed in the needle hole of the inverted throttle cylinder. I have not had a glued needle come loose from the clip. I like this better than using the "O" rings because it lets the needle and clip float and center in the needle jet. |
