 For cross country flights, one must refuel away from the home airport. I made a couple of holders out of house aluminum flashing so that I can take two quarts of oil with me. Two upper sides of the holder are left long and they are rolled over the support tubes for the gas tank. A bungee cord is used to hold the oil bottles down and the bungee hooks go through tabs on the holder so that the holder can not come loose from the support tubes. |
