I had to lift the horizontal stabilizer to enable cruise with the stick and elevator centered and zero pressure. Fabricated out of .5 inch wide stainless steel straps. After each raising of the horizontal stabilizer, the elevator cable turn buckles were adjusted so that when the elevator was in the plane of the horizontal stabilizer with the stick was centered. This is to ensure equal elevator displacement relative to the horizontal stabilizer.
